manufacturer and retailer of furniture and related accessories. They own and
operate several manufacturing plants and nearly 80 retail stores, and supply
300 independent dealers throughout the US. They also have significant
operations in Europe.
The challenge was to create a Singular
Point-of-Sale Inventory Control System to operate all of their company
owned stores and warehouses. The system created by Anteil manages the retail
supply chain and is integrated with barcode scanners, time clocks, and
electronic ordering systems. A dashboard is provided to monitor daily sales
with drill-down to market, dealer, and store. The software, based on the
Anteil common business platform, is delivered via a browser, eliminating the
need for installation and reducing the field support necessary to deploy the
application. We are currently working with La-Z-Boy to expand the footprint of
the software to include the non-company owned stores.
